The following programs were recently held or are currently scheduled to take place at the Levittown Library. They are designed to be enjoyable community events. Most programs are free to the public, sponsored by the Friends of the Levittown Library. In which case no registration is required, but a courtesy email to let us know how many are coming in your party would be appreciated.

“ Try to Remember”  1957-1964
The Youth Culture Takes Over

On Saturday, May 17, at 1:00 pm, Fred Miller points out various historical items of popular culture, lingo, new inventions, crazes, commercial products and most importantly, the popular songs of the distinctly American music era, 1957-1964.

As always, this program is free to the public, sponsored by the Friends of the Levittown Library.  No registration is required, but a courtesy email to let us know how many are coming would be appreciated. For more information, please contact .



Wednesday, May 21, 6:30-8:30 PM
Glass Painting Workshop

In only 2 hours you can paint this beautiful iris design on your own clear glass. This class is being taught by our glass painting and beading expert, Susan Hogan. Hurry, class size is limited. Bring your own glass.

The program fee is $5 per person. Reserve a space by mailing or dropping off your $5 fee with your name and e-mail address to:

Glass Painting Workshop

In only two hours you can paint a beautiful design on your own clear glass. Class is taught by glass painting and beading expert, Sue Hogan. (You bring your own glass.)


Gloria Galante - Harpist

Gloria Galante plucks, strums, and practically dances on the strings of her harp to create almost any kind of music her audience desires.
